News that fills our hearts: on October 9 in Mexico City, we received the Food Innovation Award presented by EL FOODTECH and endorsed by the IFT – Institute of Food Technologists. It was an emotional night at THE FOOD TECH® | Summit & Expo that confirms PADAM as a foodtech startup pushing innovation from Colombia to Latin America—and the world.
We were selected from hundreds of food-industry companies by a high-level jury of experts in food design, science, and marketing: Cristina Chuck (who presented the award), Christine Lopes, Coral Monctezuma, Eduardo Legorreta, Juan Vilches, and Julia León.
This recognition celebrates years of R&D, real-world testimonials, innovation, and a clear vision: science with conscience for holistic well-being.

Adapta Gut: science, conscience, and evidence
Adapta Gut is Colombia’s only symbiotic food that brings together superfoods, adaptogens, probiotics, and functional fibers in one formula—aligned with the rise of functional nutrition and the microbiome. Beyond the science, it’s backed by hundreds of real testimonials—the most of any product in our brand—and carries the endorsement of the Colombian Association of Endometriosis and Infertility (ASOCOEN).
Our scientific backing includes an exploratory interventional study with Astrolab Bio and Universidad EAFIT, funded by Lafiya Innovators 2023 (Impact Hub Medellín & Impact Hub Basel). The program took us to a bootcamp in Basel, Switzerland, to dive deeper into the country’s life sciences ecosystem; with that grant we created Adapta Gut, blending research, design, and user experience.
Thank you for making this possible
To our community and customers—thank you for trusting us and sharing your stories. Your results inspire us to keep raising the bar in development and quality. To ASOCOEN, our academic and scientific partners, and the entire PADAM team—especially our R&D Department—thank you for your rigor and purpose.
This food innovation award is a powerful boost to keep creating functional foods that transform lives.
We’ll keep sowing well-being—science with conscience—from Colombia to the world. 🌿
